The members of the TRFHSC have done some incredible work over the last (almost) 5 years! As we are winding down to the end of our NJHI grant, we made the decision to expend the remainder of our funding through a mini-grant program to support local non-profits who are working to impact health in Toms River, whether they were a member of our Coalition or not. Then, COVID-19 hit during the middle of the application timeframe and we choose to pivot the purpose of the mini-grant program to support the COVID-19 response and the needs of the Toms River community.
Read about the recipients of these mini-grants and how they've worked hard to meet the needs of Toms River residents, especially during this global pandemic.
